Good quality cars
I am a consultant and I travel into Iowa on Sunday nights. My plane typically land around 11:30 and the ladies at the National desk are polite and super helpful.
This week my plane was delayed by almost 2 hours. I called National to let them know, but their customer service on the phone was not that helpful. He told me the counter would be closed, but updated my file with my flight information, just in case. The National counter closes at 12:00 and I landed at 1:10 AM and they waited! They were very nice about it, even though my flight had prevented them from going home by a little over an hour.

But the price is almost double what found elsewhere.
Very friendly, quick, and helpful service at the front desk despite being a small location with no direct Emerald Aisle access. The car was great, the process was easy, and all the workers I talked to were very personable. My only complaint is that it is easy to miss the turn for rental car return if you don't look up the directions ahead of time and I had to go around the building because I missed it the first time.

National Car Rental has the easiest process! Being an Emerald Club member and their streamlined process allows me the freedom to pick a car that best suits me! The customer service is top notch, especially when I have to extend my rental!
It was too long of a wait to get my keys from the counter (5 minutes or so), and had a hard time finding the car in the parking lot. Also, as an executive club member I did not have a choice of vehicles to choose from.
It was an overall satisfactory experience. The vehicles I received was clean, full with gas, and mechanically sound.
