I tried the Tipsy Crow on Thursday night, 1 day before their hard open. We had a satisfactory experience, subtracting the fact they weren't serving sandwiches and salads, yet somehow still had burgers? We paid with a card and left pleasantly surprised.
I stopped on a Thursday, and it was not crowded. The service was great, and our waitress was very attentive. We didn't try the food, but the drink selection was very good, and mixed very well.
On Friday, they magically became cash only, charged a $3 cover, and the wait staff was tragically slow. The only upside was the door man, who seemed to be in on the joke. This place is trying to rip you off. Stay away and frequent one of the many better establishments near downtown.
Great vibe to this new place! All the screens for games you could want, fabulous outdoor seating in great weather. They have plenty of umbrellas and heaters for the weather. Great food, and $12 make-your-own, bottomless Bloody Mary's or Mimosas during Farmer's Market.
We could see that this was a great place to take small, large or any size groups. The have three bars ready to help quench the thirst of their guests, and servers everywhere with smiles from ear to ear to help take care of you. I also find it hard for them to ever run out of seating, with six different areas to hang out with friends, and did I mention the little stage and bags that are out and ready for anyone to play. Where's the ladder ball?
Decent selection of beers, but could use more local crafts from the smaller breweries. Outstanding food and I love the way the menu is set up. Looks like it would be an excellent venue to catch some live music. Friendly staff, although there looked to be a question as to who was the kitchen manager. The daily special was very affordable and the prices overall were great. Three of us had dinner and three beers at a total bill of $60. The tacos and brisket sandwich were excellent! Will definitely return!
In town for a little getaway with my boyfriend, best friend and her boyfriend. We were on our way to a rooftop bar and looked across the street to see this amazing open and very inviting patio bar. Talk about seating, you can sit under the umbrellas, or you can choose to sit under other sun blocking coverage, plus they have a building a gorgeous open concept to make it feel like you are still sitting outside. This worked really well for us since we changed tables not one, not two, but three times. As a redhead I was feeling the sun a bit more then my comrades. Our wonderful server Ellie fallowed us to each of our tables, and giggled right along with us as we had to pick up our entire card game and transfer it to new tables. The drinks were amazing, I highly recommend the Son of Peach, and we only had a few tacos since we were saving room for a big dinner coming up later that night.
Later that same night after our dinner we had such a good time that we came back for after dinner drinks. Ellie was sadly gone for the night so we sat at the bar and got to know John. He was great, we got to talk shop and funny stories all the while humoring us and our requests. As the night wound down we had a chance to talk to the manager Chad to compliment him on all the amazing staff that we met, he was just as amazing as everyone else. It truly impresses me that they've only been open for three weeks, we can't wait to come back and see everyone again.
