Worst service ever I will never go back. My pie was smashed when I got it and our waitress took way too long for even a drink refill we only got one because we asked another waitress for a refill.
We came in took our seat, ordered our drinks, we got our drinks, 2 coffees and one soda. I didn't get a straw because the waitress was more interested in the drunk guys table sitting next too us. 15 minutes later we stopped the same waitress to get a straw. A few minutes later she came to take our order. We ordered appetizer then what we wanted to eat. 48 minutes went by, everyone around was getting food, drinks, tickets, and sweets. The waitress came over and asked us to reodered our food because she didn't turn in our ticket or the ticket didn't print. So we're an hour and 20 minutes into our dinning experience then here came the waitress to refill up my soda and to give us our appetizers, she said "they put a rush on your order and we gave you half off your app". (Well as its passed midnight appetizers are already half off) Our appetizers was build your pick 3, cheese sticks onion rings and chicken sticks. The chicken strips were ice cold and pink in the middle we were afraid to eat them. We went up to inform the manager working and she started to argue with us, we informed her we are contacting Perkins home office then came back to our seat. Another 20 minutes went by, our food finally came, we then had to send back a plate, when we asked nicely when the waitress took our food if we could swap sausage for chicken in biscuits with gravy. They took the plate back and apologize a lot. We then waited then once the plate came back the manager informed us, our $50 bill was taken care of.
If I was able to leave 0 stars I would. I took my family there for a Christmas treat because our 4 year old son wanted to go. We ended up walking out after waiting 45 minuets to even be asked about drinks. I have never experienced such poor service in my life! 4 servers walked past us and didn’t even talk to us or ask if we have been helped yet. The restaurant was NOT even busy there’s NO EXCUSES for the poor service. I will NOT be going back to that EVER agin and I also know 100 more people that will not go back!
The server was great! My pancakes were good, but the omelette was a bit overdone. It was a good experience overall!
To be honest I will never go back to this Perkins ever again. I am not sure what it is about Perkins but it always seems like only half their staff shows up for work. The waitress we maybe saw twice, once to take the order, and once to bring the food (1 hr later). Then when it did come out they messed up both of our orders. Then to top off the night the manager had some over the worst customer service I have ever seen arguing with me about how the waitress deserves a better tip. For anyone who thinks, "hey we should eat at Perkins" FIND A DIFFERENT RESTURANT.
