Update: Tom Wong called me when he found out about the delay in getting the paperwork processed and let me know he was handling it personally. It seems there was a titling issue that was not anything they did wrong. He was very pleasant and apologetic and he made sure I was happy with the measures they are taking to remedy the situation and keep our future business. This is top notch customer service and I can tell he values the reputation of his dealership(s). I'm very happy with the work they are putting into making sure we get the registration quickly, and Tom is a great guy and very personable. We will definitely come back for our next vehicle because he went above and beyond to make sure we are happy. Thanks again, Tom!
Bryan was our sales person. He was absolutely fantastic! He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and HONEST. He wasn't pushy, he listened to my concerns, and most of all, he acknowledged me and not just my husband. He didn't try going to my husband about our purchase because he is a man, but he noticed instantly I (a female) was the one making the decision and dealt with me wonderfully. Too many times I've been ignored because I'm a female, but I'm the financial one in our marriage, so I'm the one saying if we can afford purchases. My husband makes sure the car runs good & not a lemon. I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Go to Bryan at 2136 University - you won't be disappointed!
I didn’t think I’d qualify for the car I wanted, but not only did Mike Murray get me qualified, he and Marty in financing worked to get the price down to where I could afford it. Mike was very easy to work with, no pressure at all and very patient (I’d test drove 8-9 cars over the course of a week). Very easy to apply, very easy to work with and a great selection of automobiles.
My wife and I just got financing for a new vehicle at Tom's. Rich was our sales person, and he's been so great right from the very beginning. He's so easy to talk to, and doesn't push the sale down your throat like many others in the car business do. We're so glad we ran into him in the lot. After speaking with the tag office, I found out they still had not received the paperwork. They instructed me to call Tom's and track down the paperwork. The tag office said dealerships have 30 days to send the paperwork in, and we were just under the 30 day mark.
Our purchase at Tom's Auto Sales went well. The salesman was good to work with and we got a decent deal on the car. I believe his name was Brian, but I don't remember since it was a month ago. Why am I writing a review a month later, you ask? Because they have yet to send our paperwork to the county to get our registration completed. It's nice that they offer this service, but I could have submitted it and had the registration and title in hand 3 weeks ago if I had done it myself.
Bryan was awesome. Great buying experience! The car is great and we were driving off in less than an hour, test drive included. All the follow up paperwork was flawless. These guys are the real deal.
Note: Below is the original review I wrote before I was contacted by Tom. I'm leaving it up for transparency, but Tom's has worked hard to fix my registration issue, so keep that in mind.
I gave him my phone number and he said he would call me back. Which, of course, he never did.
I called Tom's and the first guy didn't know what to do so he transferred me to someone else, which was fine. The second guy told me I have 45 days to get the registration in hand. I told him I was informed they have 30 days to get the paperwork sent in. His response to this was that he didn't know about that. I assure you, I'm not allowed to just "not know" things like that at my job, so I'm not sure why a dealership that sells dozens of cars a month would be clueless about these regulations.
