I was doing just fine with the pain treatment plan that was in place for chronic arm pain at the clinic, then my regular doctor left the practice and I became Stalvey's patient. He wanted to implant a spinal cord stimulator, and I refused because I was doing well with less invasive modalities. Within two months, and refusing the SCS multiple times, I was fired as a patient. Turns out, Stalvey takes "speaking fees" and other gifts from the company that makes the spinal cord stimulator to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars. If he can't implant one of these devices (that bill out for tens of thousands of dollars) he doesn't want you as a patient. You're a piggy bank to him, not a human being. He's a huge money maker for what used to be a great pain practice, that is now nothing more than an injection mill.
