I have been seeing Dr. Jacoby for 5-6 years. He still has no idea who I am, mispronounces my name, including my last name every time. Asks a question, but doesn't wait for an answer, just answers it himself-which is an interesting approach to finding out about a patient's symptoms, medication usage, and experience. He should just practice "virtually" no need for the patient to be present. If you do manage to answer the question before him he doesn't believe you. He doesn't accept any opinion, or treatment decision of other healthcare providers whether it is your primary care provider (who actually does know and listen to you) or neurologists at Mayo Clinic. He is your classic pompous, egocentric god complex neurologist born 50 years to late to be relevant in healthcare. I am looking for recommendations for a new provider. Any suggestions?
