Jay was helpful but didn't let me know that the car I was interested in had prior salvage title until I specifically asked. Took the car to a shop and found out that corners were cut when fixing the car. Really liked the car but was disappointed when I found all of this out..

This was honestly the worst place to ever buy a car from. We looked at a 1997 Honda prelude Jay told my family it was a great car with nothing wrong with it. We bought the car and took the 2 hour drive back home. Everything was great until a week after it was purchased. There was some vibrations and rattling and the power steering hose was junk we discovered from somewhere within the car and we took it to an actual mechanic and The rack and pinion was basically junk and there was a ton of things wrong with the car that made it completely unsafe. We were told we would get a discounted price for the repairs. we had the car only 2 weeks and bought it in june before it was right back in the same lot. A week went by with nothing from jay. turned into 2 then 4 then before you know it gets to october before he does anything. He kept making excuses the entire time as to why it wasnt getting done and why he couldnt work on it. Jay quit not 2 weeks after this. We finally get in the car to go down and get it when we are in fort dodge and find out the new owner lost our car keys. We waited another 2 weeks nothing. I had to call the assistant there to get Paul to finally get the keys. When we finally go to get the car back theres oil leaks everywhere and my raido is stolen out of the car due to the negligence of the dealership and leaving it unlocked as a bonus they didnt have the common curtesy to at least get us a new one, underneath the hood fluids including power steering fluid was leaking everywhere and the power steering hose was never replaced like jay told us he would do and the CV joints were put in wrong and he told us he would put in the power steering hose.We went down on a saturday and paul told us he would have them switched around by monday and deliver it to us. Monday comes he wasnt there. Tuesday comes he works on it and tells us he will have ot delivered to us wednesday by noon. I call paul to find out we have to pay him first and give our credit card number over the phone before he can deliver it. By this time it was november and we still had not gotten my car. So we drove back down to des moines for the final time in late november i believe. We get there and find out he slapped on an extra 50 dollars for making him “waste” money on guys for the delivery. We get down there get the car and take it back. We get there, and what do you know the power steering hose we provided was not touched and was not put into the car like he told us he would do and i have to drive 2 hours back home with no power steering. We take it back to the mechanic and theres even more wrong with the car now than when we got it. The CV joints were all messed up the drive shaft wasnt put in all the way, the transmission and engine was leaking fluids and this car was not safe by ANYMEANS to drive. I would not in a million years ever recommend anyone buy from this place. I would not trust a word these people tell you including pauls for making us pay 550 dollars for a lemon. It does not deserve one star.
Awesome place to buy a car from, they were very friendly, fast and had some good prices on their vehicles! Best of all they helped me get approved with a small down payment! Would definitely recommend
