Great bus company
As a coach in the Des Moines area, I know my players love jumping on a Windstar Charter to games. We have taken a Windstar to both away games this year and they it’s been great!
I have used Windstar lines of Des Moines for several company trips. Jeff and the staff have been wonderful to work with. Very professional and accurate. The drivers have all been very reliable and helpful. When we need bus lines outside of Des Moines, Jeff has been a great resource in recommending other companies to us. We have never had any negative issues or instances. Their customer service is great! Thanks Windstar!
Megabus contracted my ride from Chicago to Detroit to Windstar Charter Bus lines on January 10, 2014 and the bus was small, cramped, no sanitation in the bathroom, had a run in with a high passenger who was spraying an aerosol canister in the aisles and when I asked him not to spray it cause there was a congested baby sleeping with its mouth open a few feet away, he attacked me and left me coughing in a lung spasm. When I approached the front of the bus, the attendant asked me to get off the bus and "go separate ways" which left me abandoned at the stop before my destination. As I was getting my bag from undertow, the Windstar driver actually laughed and drove away while I was calling 9-1-1 after contacting the company with a complaint, their insurance company stated it was a claim against the passenger and there was no safety issue. Never will ride with Windstar again as this could have been worse. Please do not book with this dangerous company
Windstar was a great experience for me and my group. They were extremely accommodating, flexible and friendly. I was blown away by the customer service provided throughout the planning of the trip all the way through the very end. We will definitely be using Windstar again in the future!
