Big events center was a great place for the Des Moines Marathon expo and packet pickup. Easy to find parking on the surrounding streets.
Great space for events! The Event Coordinators really know how their stuff. The staff is also very professional. Everything runs so smooth. They can host anything from a business lunch to holiday parties and everything in between!
Iowa Events Center is a great space for exhibitions and large meetings. Within walking distance there are wonderful restaurants and bars to grab a cocktail. The Event Center is always clean and well-maintained. Was there for a conference and the staff was extremely friendly as well as helpful.
Attended the HY-Vee Beer, Wine, and Food Expo. It was set up in the exhibit hall. It was easy to find our way around to the different sections. We also attended a concert here a few months earlier, and that was a good experience also. I can't speak to the parking because we Uber'd there and back both times.
Attended the Beer, Wine, & Food Expo here--have 5 of the 10 years. Walking and standing on concrete floors four hours is difficult, but large, open space is a plus. Nice to have this facility, but couldn't find handicapped parking with 3+ events occurring at same time. South parking lot said closed/full, but when waited through it, counted at least 10 open spaces.
