The Iowa State Capital's doom is currently under renovation. The only public restroom is located in the basement (G29); The library is very unique (5 levels). Our tour guide wasn't very knowledgeable about Iowa Native Indian contributions (I personally find that to be must know for All Continental States; seriously considering the circumstances. The Indians History is very important- THINK ABOUT IT FOR A MOMENT!!!). The dome was interesting... narrow stairs, great views. There are a moderate amount of commemories for/to Military Veterans (But not a lot of legislation to support vets. Maybe they're working on it?) The grounds are clean and the Governor's Office Staff helpful.

Gift shop is not so great..

Beautiful building. The architecture is outstanding, beautiful mosaics inside, and decorated for upcoming Christmas holiday. Such a great visit. Free post cards and other items offered at information desk. Staff is also friendly & welcoming.
