In my opinion this is the best bakery in town and I've lived here my whole life! This is a picture of my most recent birthday cake.
Worth an small detour, glazed donuts are awesome. For best selection get in early.

I have been going there for years... always a great treat to take to work. Always asked if that's from Hiland when I walk in.
I get a dozen donuts every week for work. They are the best donuts EVER!!!! There was a contest for the best donuts in Des moines and they didn’t participate which was probably for the best it wouldn’t have been fair no one else is even close. You have to get there early but it’s worth it. If go on Thursday don’t take all of my powdered sugar donuts I need at least four. The people there are friendly and very fast. Give them a try. Also they don’t charge enough but don’t tell them
