I'm normally not a huge fan of Petco, but the guy who helped me at the checkout today did a great job. Super friendly, and just what I needed after a disappointing experience at one of their competitors down the street.
This store has little to no customer service! Then they were out of the dog food I needed but I was still getting treats and snacks and then there was no cashier anywhere. One lady stocking supplies looked over and turned away with no offer of assistance. I walked out and went to the West Des Moines store where customer service is abundant and very professional. Looks like South Ridge wants our $200 a month but West Des Moines does.
Had to wait for a cashier because it appeared they only had 2 employees working. They were both on the cordless phones with customers walking around the store.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful with answering my questions and helping me with a problem.
Very helpful associates and friendly people in the fish dept
