The people working at this store exude "Midwest nice." Now, that doesn't mean they're going to walk up to you, shake your hand, and start asking you questions about your life. Rather, they'll stock the shelves, stand behind the counter, make eye contact with you without saying anything, perhaps ask you if they can help you find anything, but when you start up a conversation with them, they'll be able to politely, amiably, and kindly hold that conversation. Whether you're asking questions to figure out what one of the clever shirts means, talking about a memory you have that relates to this cool magnet you found, or just asking where the bathroom is, their Iowa nice will show through.
Place used to be kinda funny, but now it is simply the butthurt leftist snowflake shop. I bought a few fun shirts there in the past, but the entire place now is just for anti-American, smart-ass lefties. Won't spend a dime there to pay for them to hate on most of the country, including myself, so openly.
I recently had to return a shirt that was gifted to me. The shirt was too small and their customer service was great! I was able to exchange my shirt via mail and they even paid for the shipping both ways. I was very impressed with their customer service in returns and exchanges. (Holly in particular) She even put a note in my package saying: "I hope this fits better!" :) Great service!!
Great place for snarky t-shirts, coasters, posters, etc. Have bought from online many times, great to browse in person. I think half of my t-shirts now come from raygun
I love this store! And I love it even more that it is pet friendly! I'm always looking for places I can take my pup seeing I like to take her everywhere. This gives Raygun a notch above the rest in my book.
Also, the gear they sell is pretty neat.
