From a distance the gardens look beautiful with all the flowers for Memorial day, but get up close and you will see that "perpetual care" as stated to families when burying their loved ones, is far from true. The stones are not weed eated around. NUMEROUS stones are almost completely grown over with grass. It is sad that Memory Gardens does not live up to the promises made to families. My boyfriend requested a year ago to have his grandmother's stone raised, as it was sinking. A year later it was not done. We did it ourselves. A year ago my boyfriend also requested that sod be placed on his wife's grave as dirt had been added due to sinkage and a year later it was not done. We tried to seed it, but with lawnmowers going over the dirt it did not work. He once again requested sod. We will see what happens. We are not holding our breath. His wife chose her spot due to a tree near the spot. The tree has been cut done and my boyfriend requested twice for a new tree to be planted. Excuses were made and nothing done. The area was sodded instead. Yes you guessed it....the sod is dying because they failed to water it. So don't be fooled by the beauty from a distance......get up close and walk around. You will be shocked at the lack of upkeep.
